DG Foods LLC Hires Jeffery Davis as Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance

Hazlehurst, Miss. — DG Foods LLC has announced that Jeffery Davis has joined the company as the Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance with responsibilities for overseeing all FSQA operations of the company, such as verification of USDA FSIS Regulations, Customer Specifications, HACCP, GMP’s, SSOP’s, Audits, and the production of safe wholesome poultry products.  “We look forward to leveraging Jeff’s experience and leadership skills to elevate our Food Safety and Quality programs as well as a key player in our overall growth as a company.”


Jeff has over 35 years of management experience in food manufacturing with companies such as ConAgra, Pilgrims, Perdue, and Bachoco/OK Foods.  Jeff holds certifications in HACCP, Advanced HACCP and IDV Compliance, SSOP, and many others. Jeff is originally from Arkansas and received his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from Southern Arkansas University.


DG Foods is a custom poultry processor, established in 2004 in Hazlehurst Mississippi to provide co-packing services to large integrated poultry companies. A second facility was established in Bastrop Louisiana in 2011. DG Foods has since expanded into custom processing and portioning at both facilities with direct shipping capabilities across the United States.
