DG Foods LLC Hires Mario Mata as Plant Manager

Hazlehurst, Miss. — DG Foods LLC has announced that Mario Mata has joined the company as Plant Manager with overall responsibilities for our Bastrop, LA facility.  “Mario brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to DG Foods, and we are extremely excited to welcome him to our Company,” said Bill Bryant, DG Foods President.

Mario brings a wealth of knowledge with over 20 years of plant management and operations experience in the industry from companies such as Pilgrims, Tyson, Simmons and OMP Foods. 

ABOUT DG FOODS

DG Foods is a custom poultry processor, established in 2004 in Hazlehurst Mississippi to provide co-packing services to large integrated poultry companies. A second facility was established in Bastrop Louisiana in 2011. DG Foods has since expanded into custom processing and portioning at both facilities with direct shipping capabilities across the United States.
